Introduction
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Provide technical advice and support to end-users on all hardware and software related problems.
Responsible for logging calls on the call logging system on hardware and software related problems and
track and provide feedback where possible to users on logged calls.
Configure and set up new users on various systems
Repair, troubleshoot and install software on users PC’s to ensure a day to day user efficiency e.g
Windows and Microsoft Office
Peripheral devices
Novell Groupwise Email
Anti-virus installation & updates
Install and troubleshoot printers and printer problems
Maintaining frontline services desk user support & interfacing with suppliers and service providers
Assist branch offices with IT related problems and rectify such problems on site if need be.
Ensure that all reported computer equipment that needs to be repaired by the maintenance company will be
removed with proper documentation.
Responsible for computer hardware audit

Specification
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
Grade 12
IT Diploma or A+ and N+
Microsoft MTA, MSCA or MSCE preferable.
ITIL Certificate
Valid driver’s license
Requirements
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
4 – 5 Years’ experience of this position
Minimum 3 years End User support experience
Solid experience in Microsoft packages
Experience of managing multiple Microsoft platforms
Knowledge of Netware Enterprise Package (Novell packages)
Good understanding of windows installation, software and database management systems
