Introduction
To provide Key Account Management leadership, to external stakeholders in line with the business strategy. Managing the existing client base to ensure contractual obligations of clients and the Company strategic objectives are met. Exploring and developing new business development initiatives or opportunities.

Relationship Management – existing clients and internal business divisions
Building and maintaining key customer relationships
Concluding joint venture agreements with the client
Concluding outstanding service level agreements with the client
Establishing strategic client meetings
Budgeting with the intent of achieving additional revenues from the existing client base
Monthly and quarterly meetings with clients to convert opportunities for additional business from existing client base
Engagement and input with and to internal business divisions on client requirements, collections strategies. Including the compilation of business requirement documentation.

Business Development
Providing input to the Executive with preparation for new business strategies
Successfully implementing sustainable short, medium and long term business development strategies
Compiling, analysing, forecasting and reporting on short, medium and long term business prospects and opportunities
Initiating and developing innovative ways of attracting new client business


Reporting (Internal & External)
Facilitating the generation of standard and ad hoc reports (daily, weekly, monthly etc.)
Monitoring and reporting on client specific solutions and strategies.
Analysing trends to ascertain capacity for future months
Evaluating and implementing corrective action

People Management
Managing people efficiencies through leave management, headcount budget, contracts, staff movements and staff utilisation
Conducting team meetings to knowledge share client new requirements / opportunities.
Attracting and recruiting resources to manage and achieve function delivery

Requirements
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
Grade 12
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
8 - 10 years experience in a Key Account Management environment
Experience in Payments /Collections /Debt recovery / Credit Industry advantageous
