Project Accounts Administrator

The GIBB Financial department is looking for a professional to join their team, in the form of a Projects Accounts Administrator.
Core purpose of the job:
Responsibilities of a Projects and Revenue Administrator include administrative, financial and support function of project-related assignments, including the set-up, ongoing maintenance, revenue, billings, and interpretation & reporting on project performance on several projects within specifically assigned sectors, from Proposal Phase to Project Close-out.
Key performance areas
oMaintain Projects on BST
oControl cost budgets on proposals to prevent cost overruns
oEnsure project budgets align with fee agreements
oSetting multipliers and billing rate schedules in accordance with the project planning
oAccurately update backlog on projects to ensure realistic backlog figures for respective sectors
oProcess revenue reports and provide analytic reports to Project Leaders / Technical Executives
oReview and analyze key performance data on projects including WIP and project variances
oControl and issue invoice numbers, raise invoices and credit notes
oMonitor timesheet completeness and post timesheets timeously
oAssist General Managers / Technical Executives / Project Leaders with project and proposal maintenance, effort transfers, closeout of proposal and projects and other project related queries
oPerform any ad hoc duties as required by immediate supervisor or management
oAssist with queries, requests, financial and administrative duties within the Finance Department
oCertificate or Diploma in Finance or Administration will be an advantage.
oTwo years working experience in financial, administrative or bookkeeping environment
