Two new positions have become available in our Export Department:
Responsible for separate African territories, both roles will primarily focus on targeting existing and new markets through developing and implementing sales strategies for the various commercial and retail product lines. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are required to develop and maintain long-term relationships with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. The positions offer complete accountability for the success of the regions.
•Determine the market potential by sales area of Starke Ayres’ range of products and expand customer base accordingly.
•Identify new markets and establish relationships with agents.
•Develop and implement a marketing plan and sales strategy, based on market potential, identified priority products and projected market share
•Place and evaluate trials of new seed varieties. Promote new varieties with customers through field days and providing trial information.
•Implement advertising and promotional efforts within the region.
•Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends & developments, government regulations and market statistics within the various African countries.
•A Marketing Diploma / similar tertiary qualification
•Minimum 5 years Marketing / Technical / Sales experience
•Computer literacy – Advanced level essential
•Valid Passport essential. The positions will require extensive travelling within the demarcated African Regions
