The above position has become available in our Retail Department at our headoffice in Johannesburg. The role will mainly focus on:
a)Developing, implementing and executing strategic retail marketing plans for Kombat, in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
b)Accomplishing business development and implementing short to mid-term marketing strategies in order to optimise sales and profit growth by researching and introducing suitable actives to satisfy the marketing requirements

Main responsibilities include:
•Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
•Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies.
•Liaises with and contacts major customers regularly by arrangement with the Sales Representatives.
•Monitors all aspects of a product lifecycle, including long- and short-term development and marketing.
•Provides specialized product and marketing input with regard to the determination of the national and regional market potential of all products, and the establishment of national and international marketing budgets.
•Identifies the national training needs with regard to all products of the Company’s personnel and co-ordinates the implementation of a sustained product training programme.
•BSc-degree with Chemistry as major (a Marketing Diploma / Degree an added advantage)
•3 - 5 years’ experience in a Chemical Product Research role within a Marketing Division.
•Computer literacy essential (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook and Excel).
