Introduction
Oxford University Press South Africa is announcing the
Graduate Recruitment Program and invites applications for
one 18-month position in its Marketing department in Cape Town.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, this exciting and challenging opportunity will offer the successful applicant in-depth mentorship, work experience and prepare you for either permanent employment at Oxford University Press or valuable experience to compete in a complex, challenging, and ever-changing work environment elsewhere.
The successful applicant will assists with the development, planning, implementation and project management of strategies, plans and frameworks such as Thought Leadership, Market Research, Media Liaison, Public Relations, Internal Communications, Impact Research, and other key projects.

Requirements
The successful applicant will need:
A first degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, Management, Research or related fields (a post-graduate qualification will be beneficial) 
2 years’ experience in the mentioned or related fields that offers transferable skills 
Proven research skills and project planning and coordination skills are essential 
Involvement in Non-Government organisations / community projects / small-enterprises / start-up businesses will be taken into account  Ability to build strong relationships and interest in business and or education 
A basic understanding of the educational system will be beneficial  Code B driver’s license 
Ability to travel when required
