To generate and grow sales whilst maintaining required GP%, good agent relationships and excellent customer service by offering excellent itineraries to meet and exceed agent & guests expectations.
To secure, cost and present product to the customer accurately, efficiently, timeously and with zero errors.
1.Develop relationships with agents by continuous communication with them and attending relevant trade shows/if and when required.
2.Deliver service excellence and itineraries to meet and exceed agents’ and guests needs and requirements.
3.Make provisional bookings in WISH and with 3rd party’s properties, through Wilderness systems
4.Handle customer complaints efficiently and expediently and escalate resolution thereof when necessary.
5.Design, develop and plan guests’ journeys.
6.Quote journeys (product and services) accurately and timeously.
7.Book and cancel journey (products and services) accurately and timeously.
8.Utilizing the Wilderness Window to its full capacity.
9.Administer confirmed bookings in a logical manner and in accordance with company procedure.
10.Review guest travel documentation.
REQUIRED MIN.EDUCATION / TRAINING
•Computer Literate – Specifically MS Office
•Proven English literacy and fluency
2. REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
•5-6 years’ experience in the travel & tourism industry.
•Proven experience in in handling customer relationships and developing & promoting product and services in the travel industry
3. ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGIOUS EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
•Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism
•Working knowledge of TourPlan, Wilderness Window and WISH or similar booking/operating system
•General product knowledge on Southern Africa with a big focus on South Africa
•Personal or educational travel experience
•Spanish/Portuguese will be an added advantage

•Team worker with the ability to interface with customers and staff. Passionate & creative in service offering, dedicated to customer satisfaction and wanting to “go the extra mile”
•Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Ability to conclude sales ensuring maximum agent and guest satisfaction and business results
•Organised, methodical, systems based and good time management skills
•Ability to work with detail whilst under pressure and takes pride in maintaining zero error
•Can relate personally to “our journeys change lives”.
•Must have a valid passport
•Must be willing to work flexible hours according to business requirement
