Introduction
HKI has recently been awarded a four-year program from Eleanor Crook Foundation in response to an open solicitation to the RISE for Nutrition program. The project will conduct implementation research on the impact of SMS messaging on infant and young child feeding practices. The project is entitled Evaluating the impact of text messages with and without community support groups on infant and young child feeding practices in Tanzania and will be implemented in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and CARDNO, a global services company currently under contract with USAID to provide mHealth SMS messaging in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. The project will be located in the Southern Coastal region of Mtwara and will test the impact of Interpersonal Communications (IPC) in facilitating behavior change in addition to SMS messaging.

Requirements
•Advanced degree in nutrition, health, or public health; PhD an advantage
•Minimum 7 years’ experience in designing and managing health/nutrition development programs
•Experience working with research projects, particularly those that include multi-arm implementation research designs
•Practical experience managing budgets, including budget tracking and analysis
•Practical experience providing internal control and oversight on project related financial and administrative systems
•Knowledge of and experience with managing compliance to donors’ requirements (USAID, DFID, CIDA, EU, etc.)
•Demonstrated Team Leadership and Management skills that effectively motivate staff and support team building
