Introduction
To partner with the Management & Employees of SACAA to ensure effective delivery of the SACAA mandate.
To provide a professional HR service with timely advice, guidance and support to members of management and staff.
To operate as a business partner supporting designated areas of the business.
To implement effective resourcing, development and utilisation of the Authority's Human Resources in the short-, medium- and long-term in line with the SACAA vision.
To support the SACAA to achieve the organisations strategic objectives by acting as the HR support on a range of projects and responsibilities.

Specification
Human Resources Policies:
Give guidance to the development of Human Resources policies and procedures and ensure effective implementation and compliance.

Training and Development:
Coordinate training interventions on both an individual and organisational basis. Align interventions to legislative requirements, Annual Training Report and Workplace Skills Plan

Human Resources Management Information System:
Perform the day to day Human Resources administration of SACAA policy and procedures inclusive of leave management, Employee assistance programme and benefit administration.
Approve leave on VIP ESS.

Performance ManagementProvide line management with advice and support pertaining to the performance management process.
Develop performance calendar, drive performance planning, conduct divisional performance audits and moderation

Facilitate and coordinate any appeals lodged by staff members in relation to Performance Management.
Talent Acquisition:
Provide line managers with advice and support pertaining to the acquisition of staff within the boundaries of the relevant policies, practices and procedures.
Use the appropriate mediums to source and attract suitably qualified candidates.

On boarding:
Provide mechanisms through which new employees acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviours to become effective SACAA members and insiders.
Conduct induction for all new employees that join the SACAA.
