Specification

The incumbent will assume total responsibility for:

Health and safety

•Wear PPE

•Attend pre-shift meetings

•Report unsafe conditions and -behaviour

•Adhere to FAMP and client policies and procedures

•Always behave safe

Maintenance services

•Implement maintenance schedules

•Maintains\repairs all mechanical equipment
(pumps/screens/crushers/gear boxes etc

•Conduct plant inspection on all key mechanical equipment

•Identifies and prioritise equipment in need of maintenance/repairs

•Plan for material and men to assist

•Do risk assessment/study procedures

•Do repairs/maintenance

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

•Need to be a qualified welder for our QC, meaning ISO9001.

•Coded on AWS.D1 will be advantageous

EXPERIENCE

•5 years or more experience in welding.

•Need to know CO2 welding, Stick welding and Argon welding.

•Experience in Mini Risk Assessments

•Willing to work under pressure from time to time

•Need to do own job cards.

•Basic planning skills

•Mechanical engineering skills

•Basic understanding of planned maintenance documentation and procedures

•Knowledge of unsafe behaviour-what does it mean?

•Understand what constitutes unsafe conditions and –behaviour
