Introduction
Ensure sustainable revenue growth through acquisition of new clients as well as cross-selling TCPS suite of services to existing clients in accordance with the overall budget, revenue targets and new business development goals.
Continuously identify new sales leads, build networks, explore and develop new business initiatives or opportunities, by strengthening strategic customer relationships.
Ensure a sustainable inflow of new business over short, medium and long term with the purpose of achieving sales and marketing objectives that ultimately meet the business’ strategic objectives relating to revenue and growth forecasts for the company.

Business Development

Provide input to the Executive to support preparation of new business strategies
Successfully implement sustainable short, medium and long term business development strategies – including developing and driving sales to achieve financial budget/ forecast
Network and build the company image within the industry
Attend and/or lead strategic client meetings
Negotiate transaction pricing and terms relating to new business acquisitions
Execute transactions, including negotiation and drafting details of agreements
Compile, analyse, forecast and reporting on short, medium and long term business prospects and opportunities

Strategy Formulation and Implementation

Understand and analyse the sector, environmental and industry forces and trends to position the organisation strategically
Identify, develop, review, communicate and direct the implementation of New Business strategy in conjunction with the Executive
Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the company maximises its short, medium and long-term profitability and returns to its shareholders

Relationship Management

Maintain and uphold the company culture, values, and reputation with all employees, customers, suppliers, partners, stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally across industries, and enlist their support for accomplishing tasks
Requirements
Required Minimum Education / Training

- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business or a related field (Postgraduate desirable)

Required Minimum Work Experience

- 8 – 10 years’ experience engaging and brokering deals at a senior level, including but not limited to Business Development, Sales and - Marketing or Customer Service Relationship Management.
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities to broker and close deals within the Financial Services sector
- Experience in Banking / Financial Services Lending / Credit Industry advantageous

Technical and Behavioural Competencies Required

- MS Office skills
- Advanced Business writing, written corporate communication, - proposals and tender submissions
- Financial and business acumen
- In-depth knowledge of industry
- Knowledge and understanding of:
- Key Account Management
- Key Legislation relating to the role
(e.g. National Credit Act; Companies Act; POPI Act)
