Introduction
1) Core Purpose
Main focus will be to maximize Sales Agents’ effectiveness by determining and solving sales needs within the department. The position requires reporting on a daily and monthly basis to your Manager and will be responsible for all other Supervisor/ Team Leader tasks

Key Role Outputs
a) Assist Manager in achieving sales goals and objectives, by implementing and revising sales strategies
b) Direct and motivate Sales Agents
c) Help Sales Agents improve their performance
d) Maintain a record of Customer satisfaction in accordance with company policy
Requirements
3) Mandatory Qualifications
a) Matric Certificate
b) RE5 is a MUST

4) Advantageous Qualifications
a) FAIS approved qualification will be advantageous

5) Mandatory Experience/Exposure
a) Minimum 2 years’ experience in short-term and/or long-term insurance products

6) Advantageous Experience/Exposure
a) Possess cultural and legislative awareness
b) Demonstrate sound work ethics
c) Be consistent and fair
d) Use common knowledge
e) Ability to handle a number of tasks at one time
f) Must be prepared to deal with stressful situations and have the ability to handle pressure

7) Knowledge and Skills
a) Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
b) Excellent administrative, communication and listening skills
c) Be able to stay calm in difficult situations, confident and have problem-solving skills
d) Have good planning and organizing skills
e) Good literacy and numeracy skills
f) Ability to develop and maintain clear record keeping systems
g) Ability to demonstrate initiative, be proactive and offer solutions where necessary
