Introduction
New insurance product launched! The primary task of a Cancer Insurance Sales Representative is selling the product to interested parties. Seeking out new Clients and explaining product coverage in order to sell the product effectively.

Specification
a) Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with prospective Clients in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organisation’s products/services.
b) Telephonically contacting prospective Clients to secure new business for the organisation
c) Expedite the resolution of Customer queries during the sale of the product.
d) Coordinate sales effort with sales management.
e) Plan and organise personal sales strategy in order to successfully sell the product/service.
f) Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
g) Stay informed of product applications when changes occur.
h) Participate in trade shows and conventions (if and when required by the company).
i) Promote and sell products to prospective Customers through a relationship-based approach.
j) Demonstrate products and services to potential Customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

a) Must be a team player and be sales driven.
b) Matric essential.
c) Be able to build repeat sales through strong customer relationships by focusing on Customers’ needs rather than using high-pressure sales techniques.
d) Work according to scripts. Product knowledge and continuous training will be provided.
e) Must have excellent communication skills, including a clear, confident speaking voice.
f) Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
g) Excellent administrative, communication and listening skills
h) Be able to stay calm in difficult situations, confident and have problem-solving skills
i) Have good planning and organizing skills
j) Good literacy and numeracy skills
k) Ability to develop and maintain clear record keeping systems
l) Ability to demonstrate initiative, be proactive and offer solutions where necessary
