Introduction
This position (Junior Analytics Insights Developer) requires a motivated, energetic, inquisitive and highly numerate person who has a solid technical base, but who also possesses an appreciation for numbers. Someone who understands the value that can be derived from interrogating numbers and adding value and solutions to the Digital Marketing team and the rest of the business. The successful candidate will be a data warehouse specialist, who is proud to design and implement a dimensional model and present the findings, derived from the data it contains. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Operations Manager.

Specification
Duties will include, but not limited to:

•Integration of new sources of data into Company databases, so that it can also be analyzed and included in relevant reports
•Integration of data into relevant workflow processes, with the specific aim of continuously adding value to business data
•Conceptualizing, defining and delivering new reports, as well as improving existing ones
•Analysis of data from various sources in order to ensure that the Business acts proactively on the information at its disposal
•Continually searching for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate and analyze data that is relevant to the Company’s business model
•Education of report end-users, so as to ensure a maximum spread of expertise around the Company
Requirements
Non-negotiables:

•Minimum of 12 months experience with SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL)
•Experience in creating management reports
•Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, graphs, formulas, functions)
•Undergraduate degree (or substantial progress towards one) with majors in IS / math / stats / engineering or similar. Alternatively, at least 3 years relevant work experience will be considered

Advantageous Requirements:

•Experience in Online marketing from branded display to direct response channels
•Knowledge of relational databases, MS Office, VBA, data mining and stats software
•Experience with SQL (e.g. MS-SQL Server 2008 r2, 2012, 2014), OLAP (e.g. MS-Analysis Services (SSAS)), reporting tools (e.g. MS-Reporting Services (SSRS)), data transformation (e.g. MS-Integration Services (SSIS)) and data warehouses
•Experience with statistical software such as R, Matlab, Octave, Python, Statistica, etc
•Solid knowledge and understanding in Stats, spreadsheets and graphs
•Solid knowledge and understanding of Business metrics and processes.
•Solid knowledge and understanding of Digital Marketing and search engine optimization best practices.
•Solid knowledge and understanding of the technology behind web pages and digital capabilities including cookies, HTML and JavaScript
•Solid knowledge and understanding of CSC systems & technology
•Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, graphs and formulas
•Knowledge of online marketing and writing for websites
