Introduction
The Specialist Developer (Google Analytics) will support the internal Analytics initiatives. This position is responsible for understanding business requirements, drafting solution design and implementation specifications, implement tagging using defined standards and implementing documentation. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Operations Manager.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

1.Communication & Presentation
1.1.Synthesize all requirements from multiple sources (including but not limited to web & mobile) and areas (Product Managers, Development Teams, functional group members) while coordinating with the Analytics team (Google 360 Suite, Analytics Premium 360, Analytics Standard and Google tag manager).
1.2.Create and conduct presentations for improving processes

2.Knowledge & Innovation
2.1.Create documentation relating to existing processes and suggestions thereof
2.2.Ensure that knowledge is current within tag management systems (Google Tag Manager) and implementation using custom Javacript/Jquery when required.
2.3.Research creative needs in the department

3.Infrastructure Technology & Production
3.1.Translate business requirements into tag implementation specifications (build SDR framework)
3.2.Work independently (coding for sites managed by the team) or with multiple cross functional teams to get tags pushed to production
3.3.Build Data Layer for tag implementation
3.4.Apply and implement coding practices for site tagging and follow industry standards
3.5.Deploy any third party tagging and integrate data from Doubleclick, Adwords or any custom data imports into GA.
3.6.Assist with Optimizing A/B testing platform for running A/B tests
3.7.Website Maintenance / Update / Website Design / Website Cut-ups
Requirements
Non-negotiables:

•Minimum 12 months experience within a Digital Marketing/ Google Analytics environment
•Solid experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementation and management
•Minimum 3 years Development experience in Java Script, HTML & CSS
•Relevant tertiary qualification

Advantageous Requirements:

•Solid experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementation and management
•Solid experience using HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript
•Solid experience using Experience using tracking principles and relational Data structures
•Solid experience using Experience using Website CMS systems (WordPress particularly)
•Full knowledge and understanding of CSC systems & technology
•Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, graphs and formulas
•Knowledge of online marketing and writing for websites
