Job Functions Client Services

•Educating clients on the product offering
•Handling all inquiries and assisting clients with their holiday bookings with customer service as the number one priority
•Advising clients on different holiday destinations, proximity to golf courses, children’s activities, room configurations, etc.
•Liaising with different suppliers in terms of availability and payment
•Confirming clients’ holiday bookings and ensuring that all relevant documentation is sent to them timeously
•Booking additional travel arrangements through sponsors or partners eg. car rental, activities, flights, etc.
•Acquiring stock from hotel groups
•Going the extra mile to ensure our clients’ experiences exceed their expectations
•The consultant will train junior consultants, plan and manage trips as well as special projects
•Observes work procedures, monitors telephone calls and reviews completed work to make sure adherence to quality & efficiency standards and to rules regulations
•Continually improving the affordability and accessibility of stock offered to members
•Leading a small team of reservations agents/overseeing bookings made on a daily basis
•Overseeing golfing away trips and travel bookings in general
•Arranging group/individual bookings for VIP groups
•Managing cases on CRM system and monthly reporting on departmental performance
•Monthly travel meetings with suppliers as well as internal meetings
•Assisting in the marketing and advertising of Randgo Travel
•Make sure that all stats are received on a daily basis
•Responsible for both corporate bookings (facilitation and communication) as well as leisure bookings
•Ability to sell, upsell and convert bookings with a minimum conversion rate of 25%
•Escalate and assist in resolving any reservation issues to direct manager
•Strong relationship-building skills, particularly when it comes to hotel groups and other big players in the travel and leisure industry
•Ability to close a sale
•Excellent communication skills – both telephonic and written
•Computer literacy
•Ability to use own initiative
•Excellent customer service skills
•Ability to lead a small team

Qualifications & Experience:
•Sales and telemarketing
•At least 5 years previous travel experience, with a proven track record
•Amadeus training and experience
