The Broker Consultant for Business Insurance contributes to the organisational goals by building, maintaining and enhancing relationships with new and existing brokers in order to ensure optimal business development.

•To ensure continuous enforcement of new and existing marketing strategies through Broker / partner relationships.
•To effectively build, maintain and manage new and existing broker relationships as well as relationships within the department and the Telesure Group.
•To ensure up-to-date industry and market knowledge, as well as internal products, processes is continuously maintained.
•To achieve targets of leads, sales, closing, book growth on portfolio with the correct cost per lead and cost per sale, across all relevant product lines.
•To ensure broker partners are continuously up to date with regards to training, products and processes in order to drive sales and ensure adherence to business and statutory requirements.
•To enhance broker relationships through continuous motivational sales support and recognition
•To facilitate the effective resolution of any broker queries or complaints as and when required.
•Grade 12 (Standard 10)/ Matric
• Full Commercial Qualification
• Own Vehicle with valid drivers licence
•Diploma / Degree in Marketing (subjects: Business Management)
•3 - 5 years’ work experience in administration and sales in short term insurance industry (Commercial and/or Personal lines)
• 5 – 7 years work experience within a broker consulting role in the commercial insurance space.
•Marketing or sales experience in related industries (banking / financial / insurance / business services) advantageous
• Management Experience
