Introduction
Purpose:
Oversee the effectiveness and management of broker and field division by ensuring that the full boutique of Assupol products targets are met with emphasis on investments, preservation funds and annuities

Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Develop and Maintain Strategic plan for Region
•Develop and implement effective business sales strategies
•Provide input on sales policies and procedures
•Recruit Sales Managers that meet FAIS requirements
•Support of Sales Managers and para planners
•Oversee sales team to meet the production targets
•Implement and maintain sales strategic plan for region, to ensure that region meets its set target, i.e. in terms of Annual Premium Income (API) and policy count and product mix
2.Compile and Manage Budget for Region
•Manage and maintain budget to meet sales targets
3.Develop and maintain distribution level of Broker and Field
•Oversee recruitment, development and maintenance of distribution channels
•Oversee the training and development of Sales Manager
•Provide guidance and advice to Sales Managers
4.Identify and develop new markets
•Market research
•Develop a strategic plan to identify potentially new markets
•Focus on relationship management with various stakeholders
•Conduct research and develop marketing plans
•Achievement of targets
•Oversee the management of business retention at sales level
5.Report progress to Executive Director Sales
•Provide input in Sales meeting
•Produce sales progress report
•Market Intelligence & reporting
•Prepare reports and presentations
6.Oversee FAIS requirements
•Oversee that representatives are continuously supervised when rendering services under direct supervision
•Oversee that supervision evidence is submitted to MSSI on a monthly basis
•Ensure that supervisee has a proper understanding of products
•Oversee all fit and proper requirements are adhered to

•Matric
•Diploma/Degree in Marketing/relevant
•Qualification recognised by FSB
2. Technical/Legal Certification
•Regulatory Examination Level 1: Representatives
•Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals
3. Experience
•3-5 years Management experience
•2 years Project Management
•5 years Insurance industry
•Para planning
•1-2 years’ experience in Taxation Estate planning
•1-2 years’ experience in Collective Investment Schemes
