Personal Trust also offers its own Unit Trust funds to clients, and attends to the accounting and administration of said unit trust internally.
About the job:
This new part-time vacancy has been created at our offices in Rondebosch. The purpose of this role is to extend compassionate services to clients ensuring they receive personal care and attention complimenting the financial services offering of Personal Trust. The role is ideally suited to applicants who are customer service oriented, and will happily work 2-3 fixed days per week depending on demand.

Key responsibilities include:
•Scheduling and carrying out weekly client visits – at home, in hospital, special occasions etc
•General deliveries/special deliveries – ensuring safe custody and return of any documentation
•Assisting elderly clients with grocery shopping, doctors’ visits, ad hoc needs
•Advising clients on medical and lifestyle advice where appropriate
•Networking with medical industry professionals to grow database of speakers and referral sources
•Contributing to ‘resource file’ and increasing knowledge on available retirement facilities in the Western Cape
•Arranging Wellness talks in conjunction with departmental colleagues and industry professionals
•Attending client seminars & social functions as appropriate
•Assisting and supporting colleague in similar role
Key requirements for applicants:
•Medical/Wellness background: Retired nurse/occupational therapist/physiotherapist/experience in dealing with the elderly preferred
•Willingness to use own car when company car not available; own car and valid drivers license a requirement
•Outgoing, confident and enjoys networking and meeting new people
•Ability to work with others/in a team
•Customer services orientation a necessity
•Naturally empathetic & compassionate in nature
•Willing to work overtime as needed – attending evening functions etc.
•Ability to manage own time
•Computer literacy (basic level) – MS Office suite
•Excellent verbal communication skills
•Proficiency in English a necessity
