Specification
ROLE PURPOSE

To provide administrative support during the recoveries and liabilities claims process, and support of the business strategy for excellent service and growth.
Requirements
•Ensure and contribute to minimisation of general expenses
•Ensure that all stakeholder (e.g. client, service provider etc.) communication is accurate, timeous, professional and relevant
•Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
•Provide administrative assistance to the recoveries division wrt the following processes (but not limited to):

Recoveries and liabilities claims administration and support
Receive instruction to commence with recovery process and review the claims history to ensure all relevant information has been received
Trace parties and make contact to provide information regarding the recovery process and obtain information
Compile and dispatch the relevant documents (letter of demand, pre litigation notice, request for settlement etc.)
Ensure accurate records are kept on recoveries progress and saved on the system

Prepare and send invoices for services rendered
Keep track of payments received and allocate payment
Keep the client and internal servicing team up to date regarding the progress of the recovery
Provide information and administrative support to internal and external legal team to support further legal processes
Keep diary of weekly follow-ups with third parties and third party insurers
Ensure the matter is settled or escalate within the required legal framework
Provide legal administrative support from the start to end of the liabilities claims process

•Contribute towards and ensure continuous improvement in own and team performance
•Adhere to company mandates
•Participate and contribute in ad hoc projects
•Report any suspected fraud, misrepresentation and/or dishonesty
•Keep accurate record of own activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
•Matric or equivalent
•LLB Degree
•Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Some practical experience in recoveries and liabilities administration within insurance will be advantageous, but not required as this is an entry-level position
