We have an opportunity in our Funeral Insurance business for a Regional Manager in the Eastern Cape (Location in the Eastern Cape negotiable).

Outputs
•Ensure the region adhere to expense budgets
•Ensure sales targets are met
•Ensure average premium targets are met
•Ensure NTU % are minimised and does not exceed % target
•Ensure product mix sales targets are met
•Ensure field conversion targets are achieved
•Set and implement the annual budget for the region in line with the company strategy
•Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients, employees, the community and other relevant stakeholders
•Ensure the required client satisfaction targets are met
•Ensure Project Izandla targets are achieved
•Ensure Leads targets are met
•Open new markets / opportunities for the region
•Identify and implement marketing opportunities and campaigns in the community (campaigns and advertising platforms)
•Conduct sales presentations to groups and decision makers of entities
•Attending, participating and conducting relevant meetings
•Compile and submit reports to relevant stakeholders (e.g. Exco)
•Adhere to the non-advice selling process by ensuring region compliance to regulatory requirements and business process/procedures
•Ensure quality assurance targets are met
•Recruitment of Area Managers
•Ensure staffing targets are met
•Live the company values
•Ensure continuous self-development
•Share information and knowledge with the team
•Continuous coaching and mentoring of direct reports
•Compile and contract performance objectives for direct reports and conduct bi annual performance discussions
•Contribute towards and ensure continuous improvement in own and team performance
•Manage team performance
•Compile personal development plans for direct reports and conduct regular development reviews and feedback discussions
Requirements
Matric
Appropriate business degree
Computer Literate
Valid Driver's license and own transport
Willing and able to travel
Minimum 8 years’ experience in sales
Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing sales managers and/or multiple sales branches
Experience in the insurance industry will be advantageous
