Introduction
To lead, manage and ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Legal Collections Call centre.
Implement divisional strategy, policies and procedures to achieve set goals (revenue targets), quality, and compliance, people development and performance management through innovative solutions.

Specification
oMeet and exceed stipulated financial targets as they pertain to mandates under jurisdiction;
oMeet and exceed primary collection and recovery key performance metrics across a balanced scorecard encompassing people, process, financial and stakeholder metrics;
oManagement of joint business objectives in tandem with Risk, Client Support, Information Technology and Principal stakeholders across agreed, defined service levels;
oImplementation of key risk strategy directives to support Company strategic intent;
oOptimize divisional operational productivity outputs as per agreed mandate performance remediation plans;
oMeet operational expenditure relative to agreed budgets;
oChief tactical accountability for the daily management of the Legal Collections Division call centre through the effective use of resources;
oCapability to oversee and manage the LCD Call Centre, resource recruitment and performance management;
oTo ensure a quality process that obviates reputation risk to the TCR Group;
oEnsure SLA ratings with strategy/campaigns/dialler/WFM meet required standards.



Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
o Grade 12
o Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Business or a related field
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
o Good commercial understanding/awareness of best practice unsecured collections and recovery

Technical and Behavioral Competencies Required:
Technical:
o Good tactical insights into Campaign & Dialler Management frameworks to facilitate operational execution.
o Ability to champion challenge collection and recovery operational processes.
o The ability to tactically link Risk collection and recovery strategies into an operational execution framework.
o Good understanding of productivity and capacity management outcomes to support an unsecured collection and recovery environment.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Stakeholder engagement (internal and external).
o Project management / project implementation.
o Microsoft office, especially Excel.
o A good working knowledge of and comprehension of compliance standards in terms of:
o National Credit Act, Debt Collectors Act, Consumer Protection Act.

oMinimum 10 – 12 Years’ experience in Collections Environment/ Financial Services Industry;
oMinimum 5-10 Years’ experience in a Management role;
o3-5 Years’ in a senior Management role;
oGood commercial understanding/awareness of best practice of unsecured collections, recoveries as well as legal process.
