The position will hold the successful candidate responsible for:
•Providing maximum support to the Company’s International Trade business function, by ensuring that all orders are executed as per customer requirements and all administrative duties and communications are executed promptly and efficiently.
•Management of all International Trade logistics and operational tasks, which includes the co-ordination of commercial and semi-commercial business activities within the International Department.

•Compiles costings, for quotes to clients, detailing workings of how quoted price is arrived at and profit margin.
•Prepare customer quotations in line with laid down procedures.
•Ensures possession of Import Permits from customers, and application and issue of Phytosanitory certificates from Department of Agriculture.
•Ensures correct invoicing to the customer.
•Creates computer generated preliminary packing lists and forward to the Packing Facility / Factory.
•Generates transfer requests on system for packing to commence at Packing Facility.
•Monitors packing progress to ensure that delivery deadlines are met.
•Once all relevant documents have been obtained, applies for Export phytosanitary certificate, by completing the application form and faxing it to the Department of Agriculture.
•Arrangement of Shipping, and Completion of, all Prescribed Documentation
•Co-ordination and Despatch of Product Samples for Foreign Trade
•Ensure that all current and forward orders are recorded on the export schedule.
•Monitors and controls sales expenses
National Diploma / B.Com degree in Logistics Management (or similar)
Solid Business Acumen
Understanding of costing and GP price structures, as well as the export industry essential
3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
Computer literacy - advanced level essential
