Woermann, Brock & C. is looking for a motivated Butchery Manager to join our diverse team.
Evaluate the financial aspects of product, such as budgets, expenditures, and profit-loss projections.
Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, and monitoring market trends.
Analyse monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls.
Maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction to Company food standards.
Ensure adequate stock levels on daily basis.
Maintaining food quality to Company Butchery standards.
Ensure that all Food and Health and Safety requirements are adhered to by applying daily practices.
Monitoring shrinkage and ensuring that this is kept to minimum.
All staff must adhere to the Food and Safety requirements – at all times; ensuring all staff have received the necessary training in this regard.
Coaching, training and mentoring of staff members within the Butchery.
Motivating and maintaining morale of staff in the Butchery.
Ensuring compliance with staff schedules for all personnel in the Butchery.
Ensuring compliance to all internal policies and procedures.
•3-5 Years’ experience as a Butchery Manager in a retail environment.
•Proven management experience in a similar environment.
•Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certificate.
•Minimum Grade 12.
•Excellent Managerial Skills.
•Good communications and customer service skills.
•Physically strong and able to work retail hours.
•Motivated and driven.
