The Sales Manager contributes to the organisational goals by managing and coaching Sales Consultants to achieve business goals.
|Job Functions||Call Centre|
•Deliver operational sales results (e.g. P-Factor, conversion, closing) in line with KPIs through analysing, interpreting and providing feedback on sales data, enabling planning in order to execute the Sales Strategy.
•Performance management and coaching
•Ensure the effective development of Sales Consultants, in order to attract and retain Human Capital.
•Responsible for effective employee engagement in order to build a high performance culture that contributes to the overall organisational goals.
•Implement tactical and operational plans through effective staff management (e.g. corrective action), ensuring revenue growth by delivering pre-determined business plan targets.
•Effectively develop, maintain and manage relationships with internal (retentions, PSD, marketing) and external (e.g. brokers, business partners etc.) service providers and clients.
•Ensure client retention and quality service levels are delivered and maintained at a high standard through the effective resolution of client queries, together with on-going monitoring of service levels and customer feedback.
•Responsible for all aspects of staff resourcing, succession planning,
management and development, ensuring the right people are in place to support
service delivery, achieving production and performance targets at all times.
•Deliver the Telesure Service Way through personal effort and through others.
•Support the Treating Customers Fairly principles by providing direction and monitoring the delivery of the TCF behaviours and outcomes.
Level of Education:
•Grade 12 (Standard 10) or equivalent
•The relevant FAIS accreditation as required by FSB regulations
•A relevant 3 year Business related degree / diploma
At least 3 – 5 years’ work experience in :
•Call centre supervision (preferable in the Short Term or Long Term Insurance Industry, depending on the post).
•General sales management experience (preferable in the Short Term or Long Term Insurance Industry, depending on the post).
•People Management experience
