RBS Retail Business Solutions has an exciting opportunity available for an Area Manager Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible to manage approximately 5-8 branches in the Western Cape.

The purpose of this position is to manage the specific geographic area in such a way that the key business objectives are met or exceeded across all the branches in the specific geographic area.


•Ensure and contribute to minimisation of general expenses
•Ensure sales targets are met
•Ensure average premium targets are met
•Ensure NTU % are minimised and does not exceed required %
•Ensure product mix sales targets are met
•Ensure field conversion targets are achieved

•Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients, the community and other relevant stakeholders
•Ensure and contribute to achieving the required client satisfaction targets

Business Processes
•Contribute and implementation of the business strategy
•Formulate and implement strategies to ensure the branches in the geographic area achieve targets
•Manage the operational requirements of all branches
•Ensure Leads targets are met
•Attending, participating and conducting relevant meetings and sales huddles
•Compile and submit reports
•Adhere to the non-advice selling process by ensuring branch compliance to regulatory requirements and business process/procedures
•Ensure quality standards fare adhered to
•Identify and implement marketing opportunities and campaigns in the community (campaigns and advertising platforms)
•Recruitment of Branch Leaders and Field sales agents

•Computer Literate
•FAIS Compliant
•3 years’ experience managing sales managers and/or multiple sales branches
•3 years’ experience in the insurance industry
