The purpose of the Senior Information Technology Support Specialist is to ensure that end users receive optimal IT support in a timely manner. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day technical support to the end-users at all levels.

This position will work closely with the Senior IT Server Engineer to bridge the gap between back-end server support and desktop implementation. You will also be responsible for assembling, preparing and presenting all operational statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to Head of Information Technology and Mentoring junior colleagues. This position is based in our Durban Site. This position is a full-stack desktop support position and requires a strong technical ability.
Professional information technology certificates (degree/diploma advantageous) such as MCSA, CCNA, ITILv3
Valid driver’s license
4+ Years’ experience in IT field with at least 1 years’ experience as a senior desktop support or similar position
Strong experience working with all Microsoft technologies
Advanced Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies
Advanced Microsoft Windows Desktop operating systems experience
Strong Microsoft Server Operating systems, 2008, 2012, 2016 experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server products including Exchange, SharePoint, MS SQL and Active Directory
Linux and DBA skills and experience
Strong experience with DHCP, DNS and General Networking
