The Würth Group is the world market leader in assembly and fastening materials and it currently consists of over 400 companies in more than 80 countries.
The selected candidate will be required to perform their duties in the Witbank, Delmas and Standerton areas and must reside in one of these areas.
•Develop and manage relationship with a portfolio of major customers. focusing on the mining sector, preferably have own mining customer database
•Operate as a main point of contact for all matters specific to customers
•Gain a thorough understanding of customer needs to ensure the development of new customers as well as the growth of existing customers
•Ensure the proposal of solutions and products that will address these customer needs and that once agreed upon, solutions are rendered immediately or products are delivered timeously
•Liaise with the relevant Würth Managers as to ensure that customers expectations are managed in terms of large stock orders
•Ensure that all customer problems, issues or complaints are resolved timeously to ensure that trust relationships are maintained
•Ensure that the correct managers are involved with the negotiation of contracts and agreements
•Ensure that the National Business Development Manager is informed of progress on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
•Matric or equivalent
•2 years experience within the mining industry or currently servicing five or more large customers
•In the process of completing or a completed Sales or Marketing degree / diploma from an accredited institution will be an advantages
•Good communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to solve problems and negotiate solutions
•Report writing skills
•Computer literacy - Microsoft Office suite
•Must reside in the region of responsibility or be willing to relocate at own expense
