Reporting to Chief Marketing Officer, this role is responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing programmes for regional brands in the market place to drive growth and profit. This will include developing the brand positioning strategies within The Beverage Company business strategy. Role will be based in East London, Eastern Cape

Key Accountabilities and Outputs
Strategic Planning for Brands:
•Build the marketing plans for brands and plays a critical role in developing future strategy that will deliver the annual sales, profit and marketing objectives for the portfolio across short, medium and long terms phases. Help elevate our brand equity, drive volume and share gains
•Co-ordinate the strategic brand & channel operating planning process for your brand/portfolio with National Marketing Services Manager in line with delivering Business strategy objectives
•Overseeing the monthly management of the advertising, promotions and sponsorship budget in conjunction with the Chief Marketing Officer.
•Develops and uses regional understanding of consumer, shopper and trade to achieve brand/portfolio growth
•Supports Regional Lead in development and execution of category and customer specific initiatives in collaboration with Sales teams
•Willing to travel, as and when required
Manages and motivates staff by
•Acting as a mentor and providing ongoing coaching to direct reports and other team members in preparing staff for future roles.
•Leading cross-functional teams to execute projects to successful completion across teams.
Qualifications and Experience
•Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management or related field.
•5 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, promotions, activation, digital and media.
•Ability to read and analyse financials and business performance.
•Leadership of cross-functional teams to drive an agenda.
•Ability to effectively collaborate, communicate, and influence in a matrix environment i.e. Brand vs regional role
•Ability to work independently and under pressure
•Advanced analytical skills and ability to solve highly strategic and difficult business problems
