We are seeking a candidate with meticulous attention to details and a can-do attitude to join us a Dealer Relationship Manager in our Retentions team. The successful candidate will be division responsible for:
•Growing and defending profitable market share with a core focus on originating new business opportunities through pre-determined sales targets.
•Building and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensures customer service excellence
•Managing selected Client focussed Dealers with a dedicated focus of Product sales, customer service, retention and sales training & education.
•Developing and maintaining solid business relationships with clients; growing the portfolio with new sales and to ensure that growth and sustained profits are achieved and exceeded according to Client mandate.
•Promoting products and services to customers and negotiate contracts with the aim of maximising sales and profits.
•Selling of Innovation Group Client related products and ensuring ongoing relationship management.
•Being the key point of contact between an organisation and its clients: answering queries, offering advice and introducing Innovation Group generic products and services.

Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Achievement of monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets in line with annual budgeting
•Forecast and drive new sales opportunity within dealers’ core business
•Identifies, reports and escalates potential risks that may lead to increased costs
•Increases knowledge and understanding of financial processes and adheres to required operating standards
•Ensure effective Dealer Dashboard discussions takes place at Management level
•Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs & discussions
•Invoicing of all policy sales – daily, weekly or monthly
•Ensure strong relationships are formed across all departments in the Dealership space
•Identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
•Ensure any Risk to company brand or to client brand, and escalation to line manager is actioned in a reasonable time frame
•Support all Inbound channel leads
•Execute, and manage the Sales strategy and objectives
•Ensure Compliance with all legal / statutory & group requirements.
•Ensure Process to operational procedures and controls for service
•Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
•Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
•NQF Level 5 Qualifications in Sales
•Diploma in Finance Management or Business Management or Marketing Management (FAIS Accredited)
•Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance Management or Business Management or Marketing Management (FAIS Accredited) would be advantageous
•A minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in Sales and Retentions environment or similar position
•A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the automotive industry, with a background in financial services, particularly in the value-added product space.
•Motor value added products knowledge, such as Warranty and Service Plan etc
•Five years in the Commercial industry with experience in relationship management and retention of business preferred.
