We have an exciting opportunity available for a Field Sales Team Leader in our Funeral Insurance division.

Role Purpose:
To drive the performance of a sales team by supervising and providing on-the-job guidance to field sales agents during the sales process.

•Ensure and contribute to minimisation of general expenses
•Ensure sales targets are met
•Ensure premium collection target is achieved

•Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients, the community and other relevant stakeholders
•Ensure and contribute to achieving the required client satisfaction targets

Business processes
•Use available resources (such as referrals) to secure Leads to meet the Leads Target
•Attending, participating and conducting relevant meetings and sales huddles
•Adhere to the non-advice selling process by ensuring sales team compliance to regulatory requirements and business process/procedures
•Plan and ensure any resource required to facilitate the sales process (transport, forms) are communicated and secured in timely manner
•Ensure sales documentation are delivered to the branch daily and oversee accurate capturing of sales on the system
•Compile and submit weekly and monthly reports to management
•Act as liaison between the client and the branch administrative support team during the policy administration and claims services to clients where needed
•Adhere to set procedures and quality standards during sales and administration process
•Identify and implement marketing opportunities and campaigns in the community (campaigns and advertising platforms)
•Assist with the recruitment and of Field Sales Agents
•Partner with HR Team to ensure the key stages (recruitment, performance management etc.) of the employee life cycle are manage fairly and consistent manner.

•Continuous coaching and mentoring of direct reports

Qualifications & Skills:
•Computer Literate
•Sales Orientated
•Target Driven
•Self-motivated and Disciplined
•Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

Minimum Experience:
2 years’ sales experience
1 years’ experience managing a sales team
Experience in the insurance industry will be advantageous
