Specification
o Report to the Chief Financial Officer
o Ensure all daily transactions are supported with relevant receipts before processing payment
o See to it that posting of financial transactions are done on a daily basis and in line with the standards
o Ensure that relevant transactions posted on the General Ledger have the required supporting schedules
o Guarantee that monthly accruals are duly validated for accuracy and supported with relevant schedules
o Ensure that Direct Sales Analysis postings are accurate and duly validated
o Ensure reconciliation of bank statements are carried out on or before 15th day of the next month
o Ensure that all monthly prepayments, depreciations, interests etc are duly supported by relevant schedules
o Ensure that rental payments are reconciled and accurate before processing payment
o Ensure the rental schedule is up-to-date
o Ensure that all amortization is properly and accurately carried out
o Ensure that all general ledgers balances are duly reconciled and validated
o Ensure that trial balance is reviewed and drawn on a monthly basis by the 15th day of the next month
o Support the Chief Finance Officer in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports before due dates
o Support Chief Finance Officer in providing timely response to Internal and External audit queries

Requirements
o A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting/ Accounting/ Finance from a reputable institution
oThe ideal candidate must be must be ICAN/ACCA certified
o Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in a structured organisation, 3 years of which must be in a managerial role
oThorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
o Proficient in the use of Accounting Software experience in ERP Sage or SAP
o Proficient in MS Excel
o Understanding and the application of IFRS/GAAP
o Excellent leadership & influencing skills
o Excellent verbal & written communications skills
o Business writing skills
o Analytical skills
o High Attention to Details
o High level of personal effectiveness
o Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced Environment
