The Business and Operations Excellence department is looking for another talented professional to complement their team, in the form of a Business and Process Specialist. We welcome your application if you believe you meet the requirements for this position.
The Business and Process Specialist operates as a shared service resource to drive the management of effective Group reporting and improvement Initiatives to deliver business benefits to enable optimal services to be delivered to our clients. The specialist will be required to deploy key business analysis, analytics, process and project management methodologies and tool-sets to build the business intelligence of the Group while maintaining a reputation as the internal consultant of choice by senior management for any problem solving across the Group and build capability through knowledge sharing and coaching.
The role is to:
Provide senior management and executives with the analysis and information they need to make operational, financial, and strategic decisions.
Take this knowledge and ensure that the processes and business analysis service is matured and predictable.
Support the Systems and Efficiencies Programme at both delivery unit and support departments and ensure processes are optimized, matured and ultimately automated and support staff in use of tools and methodologies.
Communicate and liaise with staff at all levels throughout the organisation to promote and develop desired improvement outcomes across the business.
Document processes, business analysis and analytics methodologies, using best practice models that show how the current and future needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for/should possess the following:
Business Analysis and Analytics:
Supports the company month end and quarterly analysis and reporting, new product analytics, and ad hoc analysis, as required.
Analyze, model and improve business and system processes in order to implement effective business solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with line role players by communicating regularly and working closely with them to elicit business requirements, evaluate and recommend possible business solutions, make assessments and produce feasibility analysis.
Interviewing the business process owners, to determine business and reporting requirements.
Performing a “root cause” issues analysis with key stakeholders.
Ensuring the best solution is considered and identified by designing improved business processes and procedures to deliver project goals.
Initiate, scope and manage the delivery of identified process improvements using the GIBB business process management methodology.
Proactively identify, scope and prepare business cases for opportunities to improve processes in conjunction with process owners/managers.
Document and monitor business processes, business rules, and standard operating procedures as a result of improvement initiatives.
Facilitate and provide specialist process improvement advice to business units via targeted workshops to identify and resolve specific issues that are critically impacting business outcomes and require urgent resolution.
Maintain monthly status reports to key stakeholders tracking the status of Delivery Unit and Department Systems and Efficiency projects.
Develop and support data management processes for core systems to support the delivery of identified projects.
Deliver process improvement training to staff.
Business / Finance / Engineering degrees (as opposed to pure Tech)
Process Management preferable, but not necessary
2-3 years business or process analysis
Knowledge of business analysis and process management methodologies
Knowledge of reporting and Business Intelligence tools and Excel
Proficient in Excel
