Industries Facilities & Property Management

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

•Comparing signed lease documentation with negotiated terms and/or drafts and/or internal company forms (i.e. lease schedules);
•Reviewing accuracy and completeness of lease documentation;
•Ensure that documentation and deal comply with company policy and operating systems, ultimately providing feedback to the respective party/ies within an acceptable turn-around time;
•Assist manager and department with lease administration (i.e. drafting of lease schedules, addenda, liaising with tenants, etc.);
•Managing outstanding leases by comparing signed lease with internal company systems (i.e. questionnaire/MDA), and ensuring approval and signature of lease whilst following company policy and processes and preparing a monthly outstanding lease report;
•Drafting of offers to lease, conditions/agreements of lease and subleases, agenda, settlement agreements, cancellation agreements, special conditions, and other related documentation encompassing both company’s standard forms and those of the various tenants;
•Advising on and drafting of “deal specific” clauses and agreements;
•Advising on and drafting correspondence;
•Assist with queries and interpretation of existing lease documentation;
•General team assistance;
•Meet/correspond with current and potential tenants in a professional manner to finalize lease agreements and resolve queries.

Knowledge including: education, qualifications and training:

•LLB/ Legal qualification required
•Minimum of 3 years post studies experience – Essential
•Knowledge of MDA Property System Software – Desirable
•MS Office (Word and Excel) – Essential
•Experience in a Property Management environment – Desirable
