Introduction
To conduct Aviation Security Screener Certification inspections, ensure compliance with Certification regulations. To monitor Aviation Security Screening Organizations and enforce Aviation Security Screener Regulations.

Specification
Provide oversight on part 110/K9 Screening Organizations

Conduct oversight on scheduled inspections/audits of screening organizations
Conduct Inspections in line with the SACAA safety and security oversight policy
Conduct screening organizations inspections and audits as per the training and certification MOP
Conduct MOP evaluations and provide recommendations for screening organizations approvals
Conduct follow up on CAPS and surveillance visits on screening organizations
Conduct screener examinations and skills tests in order to certify screeners
Hand-over certification matters for legal enforcement

Administration

Conduct administration of certification operational activities
Maintain aviation security screener and screening organisations database
Provide continuous correspondence to industry on any certification matters that may arise
Maintain accurate record and filing of all certification documents

Industry liaison and consultations

Provide professional and courteous service.
Provide industry feedback to AVSEC department
Conduct workshops to assist with the development and compliance within the industry
Deliver service timeously

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications NQF Level 6 Qualification or equivalent or Advanced Certificate

The following qualifications would be an added advantage: Assessor or Moderator Course, Aviation Security Qualifications, Inspectors or Auditing course, K9 Security sweep, Explosives odor principle, K9 training.

3-5 Years Experience in K9- Explosives Detection dogs experience or Training and Certification experience .
