Introduction
The above position has become available for our Rosebank Garden Centre. The purpose of this role will be to receive all stock delivered to the nursery from suppliers, processing it for transfer to the sales area promptly and assuming the overall responsibility for receipts and deliveries in and out of the nursery, as well as the orderly housekeeping of the loading bay and the quality of the products stored therein.

Specification
•Supervises the receipt of stock and ensure that all relevant documentation is completed.
•Checks quantity and ensures all stock received is in good order.
•Accurately prices, labels and codes all stock received.
•Assumes responsibility for the security, safekeeping and quality of all stock in the loading bay.
•Process credit notes immediately and follow up on outstanding credit notes timely.
•Liaises with Horticulturist with regards to pricing of specials.
•Ensures that all goods for delivery have relevant details, i.e. sales person, cash slip no, customer name, address and telephone number.
•Ensure that deliveries are planned and executed timeously.
•Supervises the dispatching of goods for deliveries and ensures all relevant documentation is completed.
•Ensures that all delivery notes and COD’s are signed as proof of delivery by customers.
•Reconciles product loaded for delivery with relevant documentation to ensure accurate delivery of products.
•Should any assistance be required by management to assist with other operational requirements you shall be called upon to assist
Requirements
•Matric
•Certificate in Stock Control will be an added advantage
•Minimum 2 years relevant experience
•Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
