The leading golf retailer is looking for a Brand Marketer. The role reports directly into the Marketing Manager. This position requires a flexible person who is a self-starter, works well in a pressurised environment, and is deadline orientated. Candidates must have a comprehensive grasp of the English language.
3 year Marketing degree with no less than 3 year’s marketing experience. Must be a golfer with knowledge of the sport and all it entails. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring marketer to make a mark in the retail world, working with a great group of people in a favourable working environment.
The Brand Marketer will be responsible for:
•All administration within the Direct Sales department, including but not limited to:
•Taking calls/replying to emails from suppliers and salespeople
•The processing of invoices
•The preparation of marketing/CRM reports or lists
•Understanding and appreciating customer profile and the communication thereto
•Briefing projects into the design studio, tracking the progress of these projects and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to budget
•Dealing with suppliers such as printers/signage makers - sourcing quotes, appointing work and managing projects until completion
•All dealings/communication with store-based staff. The candidate will be the official contact person for store staff.
•Managing all in-store price ticketing including:
•Creating new products on Episys (in-store price ticketing system)
•Updating prices
•Training for Episys
•Reviewing store compliance with regards to price ticketing
•Regularly visiting and auditing stores to assess compliance levels with regards to:
•Staff understanding of promotions
•Marketing POS
•General signage
•Price tickets
•Promotional displays and merchandising
•Following up on store compliance reports with regards to required actions from all departments. The candidate will take ownership of the audit and ensure that all resulting jobs and projects are completed by the relevant department/person within a reasonable time frame and to budget.
•Training and mentoring store staff with regards to:
•The correct display of signage and POS
•Promotional merchandising and displays
•Store refits and revamps, including but not limited to:
•Liaison with the operations department, merchandise department and suppliers regarding upgrades and improvements. Completing projects on time and to budget.
•Managing the budget with regards to store revamps and refits
•Store signage
•Store fixtures
•Day-to-day running of social media profiles. Driving visibility of the brand online. Driving engagement with customers leading to an increase in store footfall, website visits and sales:
•Developing a clear content and communication plan
•Creation and posting of content
•Communication of all promotions across all profiles
•Dealing with customer queries
•Managing the social media advertising budget
•Planning and implementing various social media advertising campaigns
•Activation and launches
•Plan, cost and operate off-site activation
•Develop and implement customer data capture campaign
•Reporting relating to activation
