We are looking for a Data Analyst to build extracts and reports using languages (SQL) and technologies of the .NET framework (SSIS).
In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting errors. If you are also passionate about report writing using SQL server, we’d like to meet you.
Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain SQL scripting.

•Import multiple files off the various MFT/SFTP sites
•Participate in requirements analysis and develop documentation relating to data extraction and report writing
•Write clean, scalable code using SQL server 2012 and above
•Identifies and escalates potential risks
•Test and deploy data extracts and reports (build customer trust and loyalty)
•Assists in business user acceptance testing of systems improvements
•Improve existing SQL scripts, stored procedures and scheduled jobs (Update and modify current processes to align with the changing needs of business.)
•Queries, cleans and mines large data sets, connecting data from disparate sources to identify insights and patterns
•Assist in resolving internal customer dissatisfaction/complaints and takes ownership of the problem
oOverall support the analytics team (Pricing, Leads, Quoting workstreams) and other teams in the company based on requirements and availability (relating to data extraction and distribution)
oGeneral ad hoc queries from business

•Adhering to the Code of Ethics and related policies, including personal account dealing, gifts, inside information, etc.
•Ensuring Compliance forms and declarations are completed and returned on a timely basis
•Ensuring timely completion of Compliance training
•Reporting any possible and actual breaches, errors, or complaints

•Degree in Computer Science / Information systems
•1-2 years working experience (Insurance environment will serve as an advantage)
•Experience in report writing using SQL scripting/stored procedures

•Microsoft Office, Windows
•Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework
•Basics of data visualization
