Introduction
Ecowize is an international Hygiene and Sanitation company renowned for continuous improvement and technological innovation. We are synonymous with high performance, high compliance cleaning solutions and as a result have become a leading international, specialized, hygiene and sanitation service provider.

The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the CEO. This position will be responsible for Finance, IT and HR departments. The primary focus will be planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategy development, and implementation, forecasting, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, partnership compliance, and private and institutional financing.

Specification
The CFO is required to fulfill three (3) critical roles:

•Steward: To protect and preserve the critical assets of the group and ensure accurate reporting on the financial position to internal and external stakeholders.

•Catalyst: To stimulate behaviors across the group to execute strategic and financial objectives

•Strategist: To provide financial leadership with respect to aligning financial and business strategies such as mergers and acquisitions, investments and capitalization of the group

Summary of responsibilities:

•Provide leadership in the development of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
•Ensure credibility by providing timely and accurate analysis of financial trends and forecasts as well as financial performance against budgets.
•Be hands-on in developing, implementing, and maintaining an integrated solution between various internal systems that has an impact on the financial controls within the company
•Play an active role in the development and implementation of a transformation and B-BBEE strategy
•Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance, IT and HR functions of the organization.
•Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, the introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
•Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
•Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
•Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the Company
•Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
•Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Requirements

Job Requirements:

•10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles
•Must possess excellent leadership skills
•Must be an excellent communicator with customers, management and staff.
•Must have strong operational capabilities and a willingness to get involved in the detail
•Positive influencer
•Knowledge of Sage 300 (Accpac) an advantage
•Microsoft Excel Advance level
•Must be willing to travel
•Hours of work are not restricted to normal working hours – must have the ability to work additional hours and be flexible with working hours as requested.

Qualifications:

•CA (SA)
•MBA will be an advantage
