Specification
Identification of Learning Needs
Identifying learning needs in line with business needs and review on an on-going basis
Observing, receiving and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources in relation to identifying training needs.
Identifying and advising HO Learning and Development department on learning interventions
Assessing existing course material where applicable and providing advice in terms of the necessary
changes
Developing and implementing learning interventions as agreed by L & D department
Supporting the branch in respect of change management interventions where necessary

Facilitating Learning interventions
Planning the delivery of all branch related learning in consultation with branch manager and Head
Office Learning and Development department
Scheduling and sourcing relevant resources for learning in order to deliver learning in terms of the
learning needs
Conducting pre-assessment of delegates prior to learning interventions in terms of identified
requirements (discussion or observation)
Conducting post implementation assessment of delegates and learning interventions
Performing Administrative Activities
Conducting evaluation of the impact of interventions and advise/recommend to Line Management on
corrective measures
Evaluating course content for relevance and address anomalies
Designing and Developing learning content

Administration and Reporting
Managing all skills development reporting across areas of responsibility
Establishing and maintaining learner records after each intervention
Compiling all learning reports for all interventions including learning outcomes, learner results,
learner feedback and recommendations
Creating and communicating learning schedules in consultation with relevant stakeholders
Keeping up to date with developments in learning by reading journals, going to meetings,
conferences, workshops etc.
Preparing a monthly learning report indicating variables as requested
Compiling ad hoc reports as requested from clients and direct manager
Requirements
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Grade 12
Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
Relevant HRD or Educational Training and Development Practitioner qualification (added
advantage)
Facilitator Qualification
Knowledge of the broader financial services industry (added advantage)

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
3 - 5 years experience as a Learning and Development Facilitator
3 - 5 years experience in a Credit or Debt Recovery environment

WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
This position requires travel between various branches and/or day and overnight travel to
client locations.
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
