The position of Schools Marketing Consultant is a front end position responsible for generating new business from school leavers who may wish to study further.

This will be done through active engagement on Roadshows to promote the programmes which Milpark has on offer.

Preference will be given to applicants from designated groups, and appointments will be made in line with our EE requirements.

Schools Marketing
• To market the programmes and services of the Company, particularly the full-time programmes.

• To assist with full time marketing function by mining of database and getting students in for aptitude testing and career guidance.

• To assist with all full time marketing activities e.g. schools, exhibitions, open days and career evenings.

• To make an attend schools appointments for school visits when required to do so.

• Accurate recordkeeping of all consulting and maintenance or f/time database.

• Monitor student enrollments and ensure the adherence to entry requirements and admission criteria.

• To do marketing presentations to prospective and existing walk-in, email or phone-in students as necessary.

• Market development in terms of feeder schools current and those never visited before with the aim of creating brand awareness for Milpark as a unique HE

• To assist with the planning of marketing support material for schools marketing strategy and expos eg. handout requirements, printed material and promotional

• To meet leads target as specified.

Building Client Relationships

• Develop and nurture positive working partnerships with clients (to uphold and nurture existing business relationships with regards to key stakeholders eg. feeder
schools’ principals, guidance teachers and gatekeepers and organisers of expos and events).

• Ensure that CRM system is updated with pertinent information as per Sales Client database current and accessible procedures.

• Ensure service delivery to clients - maintain the Standards of Excellence as contained in the Service Level Agreement to build sustainable customer relationships.

Office administration
• General office and administrative duties e.g. correspondence, etc.

• Formal weekly reporting on schools marketing activities and participating in sales and operational meetings.

Corporate communication

• Information pertaining to or coming from the marketing team is shared with other divisions to improve the overall performance of Milpark.

• Communication is open, relevant and prevalent within Milpark.

• Colleagues are supported and information is shared between Milpark divisions (especially the Sales Team).

• Develop sound relations with internal customers and promote trust and confidence towards the Commercial Department.

• The Schools Marketing Consultant should be passionate about Milpark and Services.

• The Milpark set of Values should be prevalent in all conduct by the Commercial Manager.

• The Schools Marketing Consultant should be committed to continuous self-improvement in terms of relevant knowledge
and skills.

• Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook,
web, databases).

• Knowledge of the education sector preferred.

• Education Industry sales experience preferred.

• Knowledge and understanding in Banking; Financial Planning
and Insurance; Management and Leadership preferred.

• Minimum Matric (Tertiary qualification preferred).

• Experience in sales and marketing role.
