Specification
Make sure to get the optimum use of our fleet. Bring down the running cost of the fleet, and make users responsible for abuse of fleet.


Ensure that availability of fleet is over 90% at all times.

Make sure that the fleet is kept to Fraser Alexander’s standard.

The maintenance and servicing of fleet must to OEM standards.

Branding and upkeep of fleet must of the highest standard at all times.

Assist with technical problem solving.

Carry out spot checks on sites to check on neglect and abuse o fleet.

Advice on vehicle replacement through cost to revenue analysis.

Ensure that the costs of repairs are not inflated.

Ensure all costs abuse, negligence and abnormal wear and is charged out to site.

Submit monthly fleet cost reports.

Assist with fuel consumption and CPK (Cost Per Kilometer) analysis.

Monitor technical failures and implement preventative measures.

Checking and verifying quotations.

Keep up to date with traffic regulation.

Assist with management reporting for decision making on major repairs.

Assist with preparation of internal rate consultation with plant management.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION

Trade Test


EXPERIENCE

5 years as Mechanic

Previous experience in running and administering Workshops.

Fleet Management Experience


SKILLS, QUALITIES and ABILITIES REQUIRED

Liaising with repair shops

Checking of vehicles (bodywork and mechanical)

Good communication skills

Computer skills (MS Office)

Excellent networking skills

Analytical and problem solving skills

Good quality control skills

Good administrative skills
