Key Performance Areas

Accounts receivable function
•Assist the Accounts Receivable team to deliver a reliable and high quality service to Customers (both internal & external)
•Manage the debtors age analysis
•Conduct bi-monthly meetings with key stakeholders to ensure timely collection of payments and minimise write-offs
•Create and maintain good working relationships with all relevant parties
•Assist in the completion of quarterly trust account audits ensuring that they are performed in accordance with client requirements
•Review and release of payments on a daily basis
•Implement, automate and maintain client reconciliation process as well as ad-hoc recons
Regulatory Compliance
•Providing information requested by internal and external auditors and responding to questions and issues raised by the external auditors
•Ensuring that regulations relating to trust monies are strictly adhered to

General Management
•Lead the continuous improvement of various AR processes
•Investigate and rectify weaknesses in internal controls identified by internal audit
•Providing assistance to the GFM with ad hoc projects
•Maintaining the integrity of the Debtors department

Preparation of Group Budgets and Forecasts
•Compiling the revenue budgets and forecasts in accordance with agreed upon timelines
•Documenting budget and forecast assumptions for inclusion in management submissions

Reporting
•Keeping accurate records as per audit requirements
•Review completeness and accuracy of month end revenue provisions and managing revenue meetings with operational managers.
•Compiling monthly revenue reports for inclusion in the management accounts
•Compiling weekly cash flow reports and forecasts to management working capital requirements
•Compiling ad-hoc reports as and when required
•Coordinating and implementing ad-hoc projects as requested by Management
•Identifying distressed mandates and requesting action plans from CRM and follow up accordingly
Requirements
Required Minimum Education / Training

• Grade 12
•BCom Degree with specialisation in Finance
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages i.e. Excel
•CA (SA) or equivalent degree (preferable)

Required Minimum Work Experience
•3 - 4 years’ experience as a Financial Manager
•5 – 7 years’ experience in a finance division
