WWF is one of the world's largest and most respected independent conservation and environmental organisations, with almost 6 million supporters and a global network active in more than 100 countries.
Our mission is to stop the degradation of the Earth's natural environment and to build a future in which we all live in harmony with nature, by conserving the world's biological diversity, ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable, and promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.
Our work is challenging and exciting, and we love what we do. To join our team you need to be brilliant at what you do, passionate, results-orientated and have a positive and helpful attitude.
WWF works in partnership with the global public sector to leverage support from bilateral and multilateral finance institutions for global conservation, through fostering multi-sectoral partnerships, influencing policy frameworks to guide public investment in sustainable development, and mobilizing funds. The global WWF Public Sector Partnerships (PSP) Network aims to influence how public sector funding is allocated and distributed within countries. PSPs are hugely influential for environmental and conservation outcomes and impact, both positive and negative, and therefore considered a driver in WWF’s global framework. WWF South Africa (WWF-SA) is looking for a passionate, results-orientated and positive person to support the growing body of work in this area.
