MoreCorp is looking to appoint a suitably qualified Digital Marketing Manager to spearhead this function within its online environment, with a focus on e-commerce. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial ability. An appreciation for the numbers and understanding the levers that make these numbers more efficient is a non-negotiable.
You and your team will lead our organic and paid search efforts, in conjunction with our agency. We want someone who has experience in running multiple campaigns on multiple channels simultaneously. This person should be strong with A/B Testing models as well and have a very strong grasp of legislation such as POPIA. The successful candidate needs to have experience leading teams as well. •Manage the strategy, execution and maintenance of MoreCorp’s digital channels – e-commerce, content websites, blogs, social channels;
•Manage, implement and adjust all paid and organic search efforts;
•Develop a website traffic and conversion plan and create goals and benchmarks to meet;
•Generate ongoing reports on the performance of marketing campaigns;
•Optimize website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability. SEO function will be in partnership with existing agency;
•Manage graphic design resource, copywriting and liaise with technical / dev professionals (insourced and outsourced);
•Analyse key metrics that measure and optimise our website traffic and conversion;
•Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures;
•Manage all social media marketing (Facebook, Google, Bing, Instagram, Etc...)
•Create and improve website content and social media content;
•Execute highly targeted marketing campaigns, including e-mail, webcasts, and paid search and social;
•With the digital designer and marketing manager, manage multiple targeted campaigns based on customer behavioural information; sending relevant information to the right customer at the right time;
•Drive growth in our audience acquisition across brands;
•Manage the growth of databases across brands via all digital channels;
•Implement, optimize and closely monitor digital channel performance and drive improvement of conversions, with focus on Search and Social channels like Google, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
•Improve digital conversion metrics, focused on revenue generation.
•Partner with other marketing team members to support integrated campaigns and advise on the best use of digital tactics to support objectives;
•Develop and collaborate with team on content optimized for digital channels (video, graphics, presentations and more);
•Monitor, analyze and communicate web and social performance results via weekly, quarterly reporting.
