Introduction
The main purpose of the role is to analyse and design business processes and requirements for all systems that support operational functions within the organisation. This includes researching and analysing data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements. The role is also responsible for proactively generating and compiling reports based on findings, complete with recommended improvements to – or new requirements for – business processes and operational procedures. Although the role focusses primarily on the supply chain management processes of the organisation, the role may be required to assist with finance- and business intelligence-related business processes.

Specification
1.Delivery of project conception, analysis, scope and parameters
a)Facilitate project conception with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals.
b)Liaise with various business groups in the organisation and clients to facilitate implementation of new or improved business processes.
c)Chart existing business processes in order to define current business activities for the development of procedures and models.
d)Research, review, and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
e)Identify and establish scope and parameters of process analysis in order to define impact, outcome criteria, and measure-taking actions.
2.Solution delivery (Design, build, implement, stabilise):
a)Prototype new procedures for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flows.
b)Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
c)Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new processes.
d)Provide post-implementation support for modified and new processes.
3.Conducting Feasibility Studies
a)Conduct research on emerging technology and software products as directed
4.Reporting
a)Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes across the organisation.
5.Managing change process
a)Communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally or/and through written documentation – to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
b)Take ownership to ensure new product features are delivered successfully
