Wilderness Safaris Botswana is looking for a dynamic and energy packed suitable individual who is a self- motivated team player, dedicated and committed to providing excellent service within a high pressure environment to work as a Intermediate Journey Specialist .

To generate and grow sales whilst maintaining GP%, build and maintain good agent relationships and excellent customer service relations. The suitable candidate has high levels of organisation, systematic and methodical in their work, knowledgeable, focused and dynamic, detail orientated and self-motivated, with strong communication, administrative, time management and people skills.

Key Responsibilities:
•Respond to agent/customer enquirers.
oCheck availability and book in response to agent and customer request
oTake into account client specific needs
oCalculate costs using Wilderness Window and Tourplan
oMake provisional bookings and follow up on the bookings
•Generate Sales to designated agents
oFollow WS booking procedures
oMake booking reservations in WISH
oCommunicate any problems/changes to Agent
oMaintain agent/customer documentation file according to standard procedures

•Debt Collection for non-term agents
oCollect deposits due
oObtain list of debtors from accounts and follow up on any outstanding receipts
oRefer non-payment guests to team leader or Management for assistance

•Meet Account sales targets
oMonitor sales targets
oMeasure results against the budget
oReport on account sales to team leader

Minimum Requirements:
•A Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in Lodge Management
•Full knowledge of TourPlan and Wish or similar booking/operating system.
•Good command of English language both orally and written

•Team player with ability to interface with customers & staff.
•Creative in service offering, dedicated to customer satisfaction.
•Attention to detail.
•Organised, methodical and good time management skills.
•Service and result orientated
•Knowledge on planning of travel itineraries
