Botswana Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA) is a Parastatal under the Ministry of Investment Trade and Industry (MITI). It was established in 2015 through the 2015 Special Economic Zones Act of Parliament and institutionalised in 2018. The Organisation is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of activities related to the establishment and development of Special Economic Zones (SEZ).

Main Purpose of the Job
Develops strategic and business planning framework for SEZA and SEZs and facilitates the planning and review process for SEZA.

Key Result Areas:
•Establishes and gets approval for KPIs for SEZA and SEZs.
•Guides and facilitates strategy and business planning processes for SEZA, including the preparation and approval of strategic and operational plans.
•Researches and introduces innovations into the Strategy and business planning processes.
•Develops and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
•Provides full secretariat services to SEZA EXCO and coordinates reports and communications relating to EXCO meetings.

Qualification and Experience
A Business degree, plus six to eight years post qualification experience in Corporate business planning ideally in an FDI environment.
