Introduction
To manage a portfolio of debt across the pre-legal collections lifecycle, from handover until either settlement or handover to legal collections. The specialist will take accountability for revenue and gross profit for their portfolio, and ensure that their entire portfolio is worked completely and efficiently.

Debt Collecting
Communicate with debtors by telephone and in writing
Conduct effective tracing by locating debtor phone numbers, addresses, and/or place of employment
Follow-up on debtor accounts to ensure payment arrangements are maintained
Resolve all debtor claims and disputes in a timely manner, and liaise with the Key Account Management department, Finance, IT and/or Client as necessary
Quality Assurance
Requirements
Grade 12
Proficient in MS Office
Relevant Tertiary qualification (added advantage)
Credit management qualification advantageous
Numerically orientated
Intermediate level in utilising MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word
Excellent communication skills and telephone collection abilities-High Performance
Good problem solver with ability to handle multiple tasks
3 - 5 years’ experience in a Collections Call Centre environment
3-4 years’ experience in Vehicle Asset Finance (Shortfalls)
