•Develop advertising strategies to increase buyer interest in products or services
•Represent the brand in an honest and integrous manner.
•Consistently work toward instilling a sense of pride of the AVBOB brand.
•Favourably position the brand amongst staff and external providers.
•Managing the process of the development and approval of service level agreements with suppliers.
•Monitor advertising and marketing initiatives to ensure that they support the achievement of the Groups strategic goals.
•Adapt strategies and implementation plans aimed at driving sales within the Group.
•Identify and implement systems to improve the effectiveness of the way in which the department renders a service to stakeholders.
•Identify new opportunities for the brand, whether related directly to advertising and marketing or not.
•Monitor projects from planning to execution to ensure they remain focused and evaluate their effectiveness.
Become innovative in the way we create communication strategies.
•Define and implement (demonstrate) operational goals in support of achieving the Group's strategic objectives.
•Willingly provides guidance to subordinates within the Group Corporate Affairs department.
•Share knowledge and opportunities with all individuals in Group Corporate Affairs.
•Evaluate identified opportunities supplied by other departments within the Group and give professional advice on the merit of the initiative.
•Negotiating contracts specifications and terms with suppliers or other external parties.
•Initiating and directing research efforts.
•Providing expert advice on marketing and advertising methods for new or existing products or service
•Overseeing advertising department operations and staff members.
•Working with staff members, suppliers and ad agencies to establish and meet projects goals and establish and enforce budgets and timelines.
•Involve subordinates in projects that will contribute favourably to the development of the individual.
•Keep subordinates informed of developments in the group and update them on any changes to policies.
•Guide junior staff in understanding what is needed to develop effective advertising.
•Collecting and analysing data and presenting it to other parties, including management and clients.
•Participating in the hiring and evaluating employees within the advertising department.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
•Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field.
•10 years experience in relevant field,
•5 years management experience

•Understanding of design and marketing principles and techniques.
•Ability to develop strategies based on industry trends and developments.
